Doris’ Bread Pudding
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Slice into 4 quarters each
  2. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  3. Beat Eggs, Sugar and Salt Slightly
  4. Stir into scalded milk
  5. Add vanilla
  6. Grease 11/2 or 2 Quart Baking Dish with butter or margerine
  7. Set in pan or cookie sheet with 1” hot water.
  8. Place Bread Quarters into baking dish
  9. Carefully pour mixture over bread
  10. Sprinkle slightly with cinnamon and sugar
  11. Bake at 350 45-50 minutes or until butter knife inserted 1” from edge comes out clean (soft center will set as it stands)
  12. Remove from oven
  13. Cool on Rack then refrigerate (Can be served warm also)
  14. You can triple recipe using larger baking dish, but follow same baking instructions
